Your account, and any account you register, must have one of three types of ChatterFire membership.
Teacher Membership is available to valid teachers, and DBS-checked support staff in a verified school. A user may register for this membership free of charge.

Pupil Membership is available to children aged 7-11 in a UK primary school. Users with teacher membership may register a child for pupil membership until 1 October of the same year, if between 1 January and 30 May inclusive, or until 1 October of the following year, if between 1 June and 31 December inclusive. This costs one license credit. Pupil membership may be renewed, if the child will remain at primary school for the following academic year, at the cost of one license credit.

Roar membership is available to children aged 7-11 in the UK and is free of charge. A pupil membership that is not renewed will be converted into a Roar membership. Those users with Roar membership who are pupils of a verified school may convert Roar membership into Pupil membership at the cost of one license credit. A user may register for this membership online with parental permission; this is a trial which may be suspended temporarily or permanently at any time.

License credits can be purchased in packs of 15, 30, 60 and 100. Once a license in the pack has been consumed, we shall only refund remaining licenses to cash at a value of £1.40. License credits do not expire.

Trial license credits, if given, expire within one month of generation and have no cash value.
